Interactive Programming Competes for a Rockie Award

Zone·tv™ announces that its interactive seasonal programming channel, Santa Tracker, is one of the finalists for a Rockie Award at the 39th Banff World Media Festival, June 10-13.

The award program honors the best in TV and digital content from around the world. Santa Tracker is competing to be named top “interactive program for kids.” More than 100 industry professionals reviewed the award submissions from 40 countries to select the finalists. The grand jury, composed of executives from NBC Universal, A&E Network, CBC, Sky (UK) and BBC Studios, will pick the winners in each category.

On Christmas Eve, viewers tracked Santa as he travelled around the globe through a zone·tv original tracker video series.
